Long sweaty nights, two, three, four-night residencies at these pubs are the bedrock of The Whitlams’ reputation as a force in the Australian live scene. The tour opens right here at The Bruns, where the band held their Sunday arvo residencies back in ’94. Now it’s back to standing up close, loud, and built for a crowd with nowhere to sit.
