Round Mountain Girls are back at The Bruns.. And they’re ready to rock. 🤘
Nearly a decade ago, a bunch of 40-something part-time musos got together in a shed on Round Mountain in far northern NSW to play “a buncha old songs for a bit of fun.” Fast forward almost 10 years and hundreds of shows later, and the now predominantly 50-somethings have played Australia’s biggest stages and festivals, shared the bill with some of the world’s biggest names, and released 3 original albums plus a covers EP.
Bringing their signature blues, roots and rock sound, this is a band that started with zero expectations beyond a weekly jam, and has punched well above their weight ever since. But when you see them live and witness the energy and joy they bring to a room, it’s very easy to understand why.
If success were measured by who’s having the most fun on stage, these guys would be off the scale.
