Shai Rose is a Byron Bay-based singer songwriter blending soulful vocals, emotionally charged songwriting, and a powerful sound shaped by folk, soul and alternative rock. After releasing her debut single “Overthinking” in 2023, she performed a solo run of showcase shows in London before relocating to Australia. Following the release of her debut album The Road in 2025, Shai underwent cancer treatment, an experience that deeply influenced her songwriting and artistic direction. Now entering a new creative era, she is developing a body of work that feels bolder, richer and more sonically powerful.
