Nearly a decade ago, a bunch of 40-something part-time musos got together in a shed on Round Mountain in far northern NSW to play "a buncha old songs for a bit of fun." Fast forward almost 10 years and hundreds of shows later, and the now predominantly 50-somethings have played Australia's biggest stages and festivals, shared the bill with some of the world's biggest names, and released 3 original albums plus a covers EP.
Bringing their signature blues, roots and rock sound, this is a band that started with zero expectations beyond a weekly jam, and has punched well above their weight ever since. But when you see them live and witness the energy and joy they bring to a room, it's very easy to understand why.
If success were measured by who's having the most fun on stage, these guys would be off the scale.

Round Mountain Girls are back at The Bruns.. And they're ready to rock. 🤘
Nearly a decade ago, a bunch of 40-something part-time musos got together in a shed on Round Mountain in far northern NSW to play "a buncha old songs for a bit of fun." Fast forward almost 10 years and hundreds of shows later, and the now predominantly 50-somethings have played Australia's biggest stages and festivals, shared the bill with some of the world's biggest names, and released 3 original albums plus a covers EP.
Bringing their signature blues, roots and rock sound, this is a band that started with zero expectations beyond a weekly jam, and has punched well above their weight ever since. But when you see them live and witness the energy and joy they bring to a room, it's very easy to understand why.
If success were measured by who's having the most fun on stage, these guys would be off the scale.
