EDO NSW fundraiser raised a total of $15,000 on the day which included a large sum donation of $4000 by the Hotel Brunsiwck who hosted the event and also organised the entertainment.
Bobby Alu and Ziggy Alberts helped headline the entertainment and kept the crown pumping with event organiser Nina Lucas all smiles as the support came in droves.
For those that don't know what the EDO is, over the past 30 years, we have run landmark legal cases on coal mines, coal seam gas projects, forestry, coastal development and threatened species. Our law reform work has helped set stricter air and water pollution standards, protected threatened species and precious wilderness, farmland and heritage buildings. Our work in rural and regional communities continues to empower the community to protect the environment through law.
Our Northern Rivers office has been providing legal services in public interest environment and planning law since 2006. We're grateful to the Northern Rivers community for its support over the years.
